KEEPING THE LEGACY ALIVE - THROUGH ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
The Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center is pleased
to offer annual membership!
CrossRoads
now offers an annual membership
plan to nurture the faith legacy
of the Brethren and Mennonites in the Valley.
Memberships begin September 1 and run through
August 31 of the next year.
The plan
offers different
levels of membership.
These levels
are Friends, Patrons, Sustainers, and
Benefactors.
Friends. Take out an entry-level
Friends Membership for $30 and receive
a membership card for free admission to
some special events at CrossRoads.
Patrons. A $100 Patron Membership entitles you to a new quarterly
publication, Legacy Alive, which features in-depth articles about the
Brethren and Mennonite way of faith and life, including profiles of men and
women who helped to shape the legacy.
Sustainers. This $250 Sustainer Membership ensures a personal invitation for
you and your household to periodic events of historic interest and to a
reception to meet the speaker for such events, as well as Legacy Alive.
Benefactors. A $1,000 Benefactor Membership entitles you to all of the above
benefits and to a unique commemorative gift.
This membership has special benefits:
The joy of sharing our faith stories with visitors from many places
A sense of fulfillment that our precious legacy is being shared with our children and grandchildren
A tax-deductible receipt. As a 501-3 organization, the Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center will document and acknowledge all gifts.
Your membership will help provide the support needed for
the daily operation of the CrossRoads Center, sharing the good news of Jesus
with everyone the center touches through its outreach ministries.
The CrossRoads staff hope you will encourage your family, friends, and
members of your congregation to become members, so you can enjoy the
benefits of membership, including use of the facilities for family and
church events.
Participating Congregations
CrossRoads is grateful for the on-going support of Brethren and Mennonite
congregations. This support may take the form of regular prayer for the
ministry, participation in CrossRoads events, and financial support.
Congregations also support the vision of the Center by promoting volunteer
opportunities. In turn, the Center provides a resource for individuals and
congregations to learn about the Brethren and Mennonite faith heritage
through visits to the Center and participation in tours, lectures and other
special events, such as Harvest Day. The facilities of the Center are also
available to congregations and individuals for leadership retreats,
fellowship meals and socials, weddings, seminars, etc. CrossRoads encourages
visits by membership classes to enable new members to experience part of the heritage of our church history.
Beginning and/or renewing your annual membership is a personal way for
your faith values to connect with school children, tourists and Center
visitors in general, as well as church youth, young adults and seniors.
